Oops there goes the złoty again

So the złoty might be going down hill against the euro and other currencies but the worst impact will be how it is comparing against the Swiss franc. I have a lot to write on this subject, most of which would be along the lines of “I told you so”…..

Estimates are that up to PLN 88bn was lent to Polish borrowers in the form of foreign currency-denominated mortgages. Take a look at this article by Izabella Kaminska writing at the FT –

Hi. I am doing an assignment of Poland. I was wondering if you would blog about Poland’s current economy crisis. It will help me a whole lot as I can’t find much on it.
