Undecided (the character in a fictional book I am writing) – Please submit suggestions for the name of the lead character.
Who am I? I live with my wife and our cat Felix (his real name).
Perhaps I could be described as an Englishman lost who has found himself in Poland – trying to be an Author but bad in languages and living in Poland just adds to the confusion. Apart from family, friends and cat, my hobbies are running, kayaking and the beauty of nature. I am also looking to learn from my wife and find the beauty in others; it’s too easy to spot the negative. Together we enjoy literature, writing, athletics and laughing as much as possible.
Thanks for the link, Colin. I’m enjoying your blog and will be a regular visitor.

Colin, I notice from your blog/s that you are keeping your identity quiet. Please feel free to delete this and the earlier comment as they mention your name. I shan’t get all bitter and twisted about it, honest!
Which blog should I be following? Or are they all linked?
No problem – I’ll run the sites parallel for a little while so will duplicate all of the personal stuff onto this blog as its really for the book and general observations – I want to try to keep the LewisFields blog for work related matters – but will need time to get the archives over – so in short this one for personal…the other one for work…
I like your blog a lot – you have some very good observations and writing
Not another lost Englishman in Poland, the place is lousy with them!
Sorry, only kidding. I will watch with interest.
Of course if you really are living with a mixed-nationality Polish beauty 19 year your junior I may not be able to speak to you again.
The age difference and mixed nationality beauty is the true bit, I even managed to get lucky and marry her – thanks for reading – I’ve read a couple of your articles and can cerainly identify with what you write…I’m still sorting out my old archive so should have this blog fully functional next week.
poland is a great place to find yourself in (in both senses), isn’t it?
i’m enjoying meandering through your blog.
merry christmas!!
